After 9 wonderful years, and thousands of miles, of happy sailing with my family they have decided they would rather go on holiday with girlfriends than with Mum Dad, so I am selling my Great Dane 28

The Great Dane 28 was inspired both by the Folkboat and the Sisu Spidsgatter. She looks and sails rather similar to the Twister, but both her hull and complete coachroof/deck mouldings have always been made of GRP. She is a sturdy sea boat and is at home once the wind is above 15 knots.

I have owned PHAEDRA for 8 years and have installed the following new equipment during that time

Nanni 21 Hp engine 2003, Full set of sails new rigging and jib reefing system 2003, Anderson 2 speed winches 2003, Custom Craft fitted cushions throughout 2003, RC435i Colour Chart Plotter 2005, ST4000 Tiller Pilot 2005, Sprayhood 2006, ST60 Wind System 2006, shaft propeller 2007, 110amp batteries 2009, VHF DSC Radio 2009, Navtex 2009, AIS 2009.

In 2008 she had a complete re-wire, new windows and head lining fitted, water tank replaced, cockpit coaming replaced and a new mast step fitted.
