UPDATE:
Mid October and Gitana is now on the hard for the winter. My health issues are increasing and she will need to be sold before the Spring launch dates, so plan a road trip to Sarnia, look over Gitana and make a reasonable offer.

Although we are in no hurry to sell our boat at the moment, we are planning to buy a mobile home and go traveling on land for a while when Debbie retires in October of 2012. Unfortunately, Gitana will then be needing a new skipper.
Vessel is located at the Sarnia (Ontario) Yacht Club on dock 4 and can be seen anytime. She will be sold, AS IS, WHERE IS. There is no survey. Keep in mind that Gitana del Mar is now 34 years old and everything is ORIGINAL, meaning most items are worn down and will need replacements. (sails, electronics, etc)When checking out our boat, dont bother showing me the short comings, defects or potential problems. I already know that she needs a lot of upgrading. ( but we still love her)
Launched in May of 77, she did the North Channel
before heading to the Bahamas for two years in 1978.
On her return to Sarnia and fresh waters, she was
seen in the North Channel for a number of years into
the mid 80s. Since then she became more of a day-
sailor, a floating cottage and a place for the
grand kids to spend on overnighters.
