US documented vessel. Designed by Andre Mauric, built to rigorous military specs for the French Coast Guard by the world-famous Chantiers Naval L'Esterel shipyard in Cannes, France (do an online search for Chantiers Naval L' Esterel--widely regarded as "the of wood boats"). Designed and built to operate in any of the world's oceans. Triple-planked old growth African mahogany over English White Oak ribs (stronger than steel!), 6 watertight bulkheads.

Completely refit 10 years ago (approx $1 million US) including all new wiring, plumbing, remodeling of living quarters, galley, etc. Re-powered 4 years ago with brand new twin Lugger Marine 750hp turbo-charged marine diesels, approx 1,100 hours ea. Cruises nicely at 16-18 knots, will do 25 knots. 1,100nm range. Fast, stable, dependable.

Mini-refit 3 years ago including new props, new rudder assemblies, new 15,000 BTU A/C unit, complete paint job, re-bedding of all deck fixtures, new ports, hatches, etc.(approx. $250k). Just hauled and painted 5/25/10--hull re-painted and new anti-foul paint (Interlux Micron Plus)was just applied.

Sleeps ten in five staterooms. Three heads with showers. Master suite features Queen bed and private head with shower. Large galley with tons of storage, full sized propane refer, gas stove/oven, tons of storage. Would make an excellent live-aboard, research vessel, or dive/charter/eco/adventure tourism vessel. Currently owned by a US non-profit organization. We will be focusing our projects in the S.
