It is rare to find the perfect affordable ocean cruiser today. Jasmine represents 10 years of quality rebuilding work and an owner that knew what he wanted in a long distance ocean ready vessel. The 45' Hirsh designed Gulfstar with a maintenance free deck was built for the charter market. This boat was never chartered and was rarely used by the first owner, thus the low hours. This second owner saw the boats potential and decided he would make it perfect. He started with the in the boom roller furling and fully battened main sail with all control lines coming into the cockpit electric winch, added a full electronics package and fully enclosed the cockpit for inclement weather. He installed air conditioning throughout, a water-maker, a huge battery bank and a diesel genset. He rebuilt the galley, added a liner drive autopilot, added an extra fuel tank, redesigned the salon with tremendous storage capacity and made the boat as comfortable as possible.
