1978 Mariner 28
Sailable and the motor starts and runs well. A good set of sails, main, 100%, 125%, and 150% genoa. very solid hull and rig, but the interior needs some work, mostly the plywood under the bunks needs replacing as it got wet over the winter and is delaminated, and some work around the forward hatches. The original teak interior is still intact and ready to be refinished back to its original beauty. Some deck work needed in the bow to complete and seal up a former deck re-coring. Wind, depth and speed gauges all work. Newer cockpit cushions, the interior cushion foam is in good shape but needs to be recovered. Bimini, sail cover, cockpit table whisker pole four halyards, two forward two rear facing plus a spinacre halyard. Two anchors, Danforth, and plow on the bow roller. Do your homework on Mariners and you'll see they are a very solid and well-built boat, that sails very well indeed. We've had lots of fun with her over the years but now we're moving up. Also comes with a wooden cradle, but the cradle can be disposed of locally if you want to sail her away.
The boat is on the hard at Lake Ontario Mariners in Henderson Harbor NY. Storage paid through June.
