1986 Chris-Craft Catalina - Sea Horse
It is a great live aboard boat or to turn into an AirBnb. Asking $49,000 - OBO.
Clean title.
Double cabin- two heads with showers. Couch easily converts to a bed - the back rest slides back. Brand new refrigerator....
Twin Crusader V8 gasoline inboards reported as 270 hp each Port Model : RH270 Starboard Model : LH270
Port hours : 914 Starboard hours : 913 (this was after I brought it to Brevard from Jacksonville. Probably has a
few more hours.
Fuel Capacity: 250 Gallons / Water Capacity 100 Gallons
Beam 13 / Draft 2'7"
Had the bottom just cleaned - there is no blistering or damage to the bottom. The hull, shaft propellers and trim tabs in good shape. The integrity of the bottom is very good. (Interested - will let you speak to company that cleans the bottom of the boat)
16,000 BTU air conditioning unit by Dometic, located below the dinette seating and another Dometic unit located in the aft stateroom.
Modified V, planning type hull. The hull is constructed of a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) laminate, finished with gelcoat above the waterline and an anti fouling paint
Serious inquiries only.
Located in Cocoa Village Marina Marina. The best marina in the area. The slip is month to month with a great view of the intercoastal (see picture), so you can take over the slip and not be locked in to anything long term.
For those that do not know much about boats. You can dock your boat and live aboard at a slip in a marina for $600 to $700 a month. This includes electric, water and internet. If you rent or own a place - utilities can cost $250 to $300 a month - meaning you can live on your boat for $350 a month. Also - compared to a condo on the water - where you will pay $300,000 or more and have an HOA Fee and still have to pay water, electric and internet. The view on a boat is better, the rocking will give you the best sleep ever and you can have coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening surrounded by dolphins and manatees.
There is nothing fundamentally wrong with this boat. Any issues are minor. Bought it in Jacksonville 3 years ago - took it down the intercoastal. No issues. Since then took it out just a few times - no issues.
