Kajun Diva is a fully equipped, well maintained cruising yacht. Her truly impressive list of equipment goes far beyond what you normally find on 380's and includes: NorPro 7kw genset, 4 solar panels on custom arch/seating area, custom hard bimini, two wind generators, ICOM IC-M802 SSB, 24 mile color radar, 2 chart plotters (factory renewed, 2020), Bose entertainment system (new amplifiers in 2020), Autohelm 6001 autopilot (new remote and head, 2020),Dickenson 3 burner SS stove with oven (new, 2016), Spectra Watermaker, 2 x Tecma electric heads, Frigoboat refrigerator and separate freezer ($6,000 each) and a custom built 10' fiberglass dinghy with 15hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard.
She is well appointed with many custom features such as matching covers for instruments, MOB gear, sheet bags, jerry jug covers and many others. There is an almost endless supply of spare parts in addition to many parts recently renewed or replaced. She comes complete with everything necessary for independent cruising as the owner's are taking nothing except their personal items, leaving all dishes, galley ware, sheets, pillows, cleaning supplies and much more.
One of the many noteworthy custom features of Kajun Diva is the arch which not only supports the two wind generators and four solar panels, but incorporates bench seating and a partial hard top. The seating area is complete with custom cushions which run the full width of the cockpit. It provides not only comfortable seating but also a full 360 degree view over the coach roof, through the spray dodger (new, February, 2020).

BONUS #1:
In November, 2016 Kajun Diva was hauled out, bottoms stripped to bare fiberglass, re-epoxied and a Coppercoat anti-fouling epoxy was installed. Typically Coppercoat will last for about 10 years. Imagine not having the expense of hauling out just for bottom paint for the next 7 years, perhaps even more! From the manufacturer:
The average COPPERCOAT customer worldwide gets about 10 years of protection before they need to do their first touch-ups. That doesn't mean that 10 years is a magic number and you absolutely must do a touch-up; if you are in a mild fouling location it might be 12 years or more before you need to do anything. And if you are in a high fouling area and using an aggressive pad to clean the waterline it might be only 9 years.
What do we mean by touch-ups? For most sailboats, the first place to wear is around the waterline or the bottom of the keel. On powerboats, it is along the waterline and above the propellers. When these areas wear through (you will start to see through the COPPERCOAT to the layer beneath) you will need to haul the boat, sand ONLY the worn areas, and apply COPPERCOAT to those areas. You do not needto paint the whole hull again. These touch-ups normally only take 1 or 2 kits of COPPERCOAT and the boat is good to go for another 10 years or so."
The current owner spent $10,000 on this; 70% of the benefit goes to the new owner! Think of how much $$$ you will save on haul outs and bottom paint over the next several years!
BONUS #2:
The boat is located in Roatan, Honduras, the heart of the Western Caribbean cruising area, with dozens of well protected and often empty anchorages as well of numerous neighboring islands and cays. Also within easy reach are the Honduras mainland, Guatemala and Belize (overnight sail) and Mexico, 2-3 days. And wait until you see the private marina where she's located!
If keeping her in the Caribbean is not in your plans, it's a leisurely sail up to the USA with stops in beautiful Belize, the Mexican Riviera and Cancun, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres and the Florida Keys, perhaps even through the Panama Canal and up the West Coast!
