Description
Promise is a 1978 Ranger 33 tall rig sloop designed by marine architect Gary Mull. With her fin keel, spade rudder and encapsulated keel, she is fast and easily handled on all points of sail. Her 130% Genoa on a new Profurl and Barient self-tailing winches makes her perfect for a couple or single-handed sailing. Most lines are led aft to the cockpit to line-clutches and Lewmar winches. Her M-16 Universal Diesel drives her easily and using 1/2 GPH at 1800-2000 RPM she is very efficient. With a full galley featuring a Force-10 propane stove, hot & cold pressurized water system plus filtration, she is perfect for extended trips in the Sea of Cortez or farther. There is a custom mattress in the forward V-Berth as well bunks in the main salon. The spacious cockpit with a dodger, bimini and awning plus custom cushions and Magma Grill make the cockpit very comfortable to relax or entertain. “Promise” has been carefully restored during the past 3 years and is turnkey and ready to sail.
